About Me

I own and write for the independent NBA blog HornetsHype. I am also working on a speculative fiction novel (that's fancy talk for the geeky sci fi kind) in my free time. I live in New Orleans. I'm not single, but I'm not married either. I have two cats. I'm a liberal feminist. I game some. I code some. I love my MacBook. I have a weird crush on Paul Pierce.

If you want to hang out with me, you should totally join my Twitter army. Once we get over 1,000 we're going to take over the world. Yep.

About This Site

This site is powered by an open-source Lifestreaming software called Sweetcron. The look is a modified version of the Tangled Up in Blue theme. I wanted it to look like the cluttered desk of a multitasker. You know, someone who's always got a million windows open on their computer at once and notes scribbled on post-its stuck to the monitor. Like me. This site is pulling in RSS feeds from my activity around the internet. Each box represents something I did, read, posted, or took a picture of. The boxes that look like notebooks are personal blog posts. If you only want to see those, you can do so by clicking the "Blog" button in the menu above. Twitter updates are off to the right in their own box because I use Twitter so frequently it would dominate the entire stream if I let it free in there. If you're wondering how one person could possibly do so much stuff on the internet, then I can only say this: I knew the moment I first saw it in my dad's office in 1994 that it was the place for me. :-)
